They got to party with our peeps, hang in the hot tub and relax a bit before heading on the their way back home.<\/p>\n<p>They were in for a treat!<\/p>\n<p>For 100 years, sheepherders in the desert valleys of the Camp Verde, AZ area have driven their herds north for the summer to pastures atop the Mogollon Rim, near Flagstaff.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.2dogsbarkin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/IMG_20160521_084600262.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 0px 5px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"IMG_20160521_084600262\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.2dogsbarkin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/IMG_20160521_084600262_thumb.jpg?resize=580%2C328&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"IMG_20160521_084600262\" width=\"580\" height=\"328\" border=\"0\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Only 2 ranchers in the valley still drive their sheep overland to the summer pastures. It has become cheaper to load the sheep into trucks and take the sheep to the pastures. Watching the sheep swim is supposed to be quite a sight.
