John doesn\u2019t start work until the beginning of March so we are taking our time getting to Salt Lake City Utah. Our destination: the Vermillion Cliffs, one of the 5 steps in the Grand Staircase.<\/p>\n

We picked the dispersed camping area along House Rock Valley Rd. There was an \u201cencampment\u201d called House Rock too, marking our turn.<\/p>\n

Oh boy, a dirt road. Our girl isn\u2019t going to be happy about this!<\/p>\n

The road to our campsite\u2026.we were, in our friend Rene\u2019s words, 2-trackin.<\/p>\n

What a great back\/front yard!!<\/p>\n

John took a picture with his phone and wanted to upload it to Facebook\u2026.oops, no data coverage, no cell service. So for the next 3 days we are \u201coff the grid\u201d. Nice.<\/p>\n

Immediately after we were setup John went exploring.<\/p>\n

We went rockhounding, shooting and California Condor watching. but for the most part just hung out at the coach and relaxed. John could rockhound and shoot right at the coach when he wanted, which made this his dream campsite.<\/p>\n

Alas, time to get back to civilization and earning money. We definitely want to come back to this spot sometime.<\/p>\n
