I woke up around 1:30am this morning and couldn’t go back to sleep, so I decided to start\u00a0working on\u00a0the revamp of our blog and web site.<\/p>\n
Originally, my plan was to put static info on the website and our journal type “stuff” on the blog. Well I found that blogging\u00a0\u00a0is so much quicker than web page design\/editing \u00a0(only for pages with a simple design though)\u00a0that I decided to move as much from our web site as I could\u00a0to our blog.<\/p>\n
Everything was going spectacularly…until<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n As I explain to my users at work,\u00a0most people can really mess up a computer but it takes an IT professional to really f%$#! things up. Well that is exactly what\u00a0I did.<\/p>\n It was so bad\u00a0I couldn’t even get into\u00a0our blog\u00a0from what us IT geeks call the “backdoor”. I ended up going through the “basement” door to\u00a0get to the blog settings.<\/p>\n During my attempt to restore the bad things and what I did to gain access to the blog again, I ended up wiping out EVERYTHING that I had done for the\u00a0last two weeks.\u00a0\u00a0EVERYTHING!!\u00a0 In total that amounted to several days of work….just GONE!<\/p>\n Luckily most of what I had been working on already existed on our web page\u00a0so I haven’t had to re-write everything.\u00a0Heck, It even looks better than it did origonally.\u00a0 6 more items to fix and all will be well.
