After John created the new walls and doorway for the bathroom we had some unused space in a corner. With the house being as small as it is, we want to use every available space for storage. <\/p>\n
I had the idea of putting a desk or table of some sort in this little corner. It would give us a place to put our mail and other papers that seemed to collect on the bar in the kitchen, as well as other odds and ends that we just didn’t have room for in the kitchen. Here is what he came up with.

\nHe built a cabinet and drawers that he then put a tile top on to match the bar. He also built boxes to go above the media center for us to organize the mail that comes in and other paper work generated by everyday life and a matching cork board.
