It has been a week and we are well settled into our new back yard here at Rutledge.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It seems that for the most part the campers surrounding us are long-termers, work campers at the park or work campers in town.<\/p>\n

The weather has been a little dreary but nice enough that I was able to get out and take some pictures.<\/p>\n

One of the \u201ccute\u201d things about the park are the interior road names. We are located on Kare Bear. Who wouldn\u2019t want to live on Kare Bear Lane, right?<\/p>\n

The next street down however is extra special to me and I wish we were on that street. How about that Britta!? You have a road named after you!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We have been given assignments \/ jobs and it seems that John is going to be the most busy. She has lots of electrical work for him.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

In addition to RV sites Rutledge does have quite a few cabins. There is a covered bridge that leads to the cabin area. Nice huh?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Some of the cabins are located in a wooded area with a walking path and stream near by. They are so cute don\u2019t you think? This is actually what is known as a park model.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

There is also a nice lake in the park where people do some fishing during the summer months. When we got here it was covered with a paper-thin layer of ice, but with the warmer nights and days that has all melted.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Overall a really nice park. We can\u2019t wait to go exploring and check out Asheville, Fletcher and Hendersonville, but until the weather warms up a bit, I\u2019m content to stay inside where it is nice and cozy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
