It\u2019s a cold snap the weather people say. Great. Just Great. January 6, 2015 we are on the road and in addition to the single digit temperatures it is now snowing.<\/p>\n

It made for a long slow trip to John\u2019s father\u2019s place in Dubois where we spent the night.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The next morning we were greeted with more snow and even colder weather. We stopped to have lunch early afternoon to wait out a heavy snow storm.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We finally made it to the coach in Lewisburg Ohio. It was so cold that the handle on the screen door broke, the steps wouldn\u2019t come out all the way and the water pump and water in the holding tank was all frozen.<\/p>\n

The next morning it wasn\u2019t much better. \u20134 according to our thermometer and \u20138 according to the weatherman. Brrrr.<\/p>\n

The sun was coming up so it was time to open all of the blinds to let the solar heat help warm the coach. When I pulled the curtains away from the front windshield I was greeted with a beautiful crystal display of frost.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, I realized that the thick layer of frost was on the inside of the windshield and not outside. Turns out ALL the windows in the coach looked like this. Ugh!<\/p>\n

WAY WAY WAY past time to head south.<\/p>\n

As we prepared to pull out of Phil and Sue\u2019s driveway John kept apologizing to the coach. Promising to never leave her in the cold again. He was hoping that talking nice would keep her running since the last time he cursed her she broke down.<\/p>\n
