Not the Washer!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Have I ever mentioned how much I love having a washer in the coach? I tell John that exact thing just about every time I use it.<\/p>\n<p>The other day, when I did a load of wash everything was fine until it hit the dry cycle and it started making a \u201cscratching noise\u201d like a stone or something was stuck somewhere it wasn\u2019t supposed to be.<\/p>\n<p>I cleaned it all out and John said to try one more load. Well it didn\u2019t help. So I pulled the wet clothes out of the washer and then we pulled the washer out.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.2dogsbarkin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_4460.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" style=\"border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 0px 5px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-top-width: 0px\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.2dogsbarkin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_4460_thumb.jpg?resize=580%2C436\" width=\"580\" height=\"436\" border=\"0\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Not an easy thing to do in limited space. First John removed the decorative molding. The the plastic \u201cflood prevention piece\u201d which not only was screwed in place but siliconed as well\u2026.ya know to hold the water incase the washer leaks.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.2dogsbarkin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_4461.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" style=\"border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 0px 5px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-top-width: 0px\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.2dogsbarkin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_4461_thumb.jpg?resize=580%2C436\" width=\"580\" height=\"436\" border=\"0\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There is only enough room for the washer to sit upright between its compartment and the bureau. When the washer kinda fell out of its hole the outer plastic cracked. The inner part was fine so no harm there.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.2dogsbarkin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_4464.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" style=\"border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 0px 5px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-top-width: 0px\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.2dogsbarkin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_4464_thumb.jpg?resize=529%2C705\" width=\"529\" height=\"705\" border=\"0\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>He took the back off and found that the bearings were going bad. I have no idea what all he had to go through to fix it, but it involved, drilling rivets, the purchase of a bearing puller (whatever that is), finding and purchasing the right bearings, heating and cooling parts and a lot of colorful adjectives, beer, and I think at some point there was a hammer involved.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, during the days that it took for all of this to happen, the shut-off valves for the water to the washer were leaking. They leaked enough that the bucket we had them in filled, overflowed and since we removed the little plastic dam thingy, the carpet got soaked.<\/p>\n<p>Looks like this summer I will be getting a new floor in the bedroom. We will be almost carpet free.<\/p>\n<p>No I didn\u2019t loosen the valves on purpose.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Have I ever mentioned how much I love having a washer in the coach?
