Burrrr!!! It is chilly this morning. We\u2019ve gone from wearing t-shirts and short to jackets and long pants overnight. The thunderstorms that rolled through yesterday and last night brought in a temperature change for sure!<\/p>\n

As we approached the Artist Paint pot area the steam coming off of the hot springs made for an eerie but surreal picture. Maybe a little bit of cold weather will be okay.<\/p>\n

It seems that each feature we visit is more impressive than the last. The Artist Paint pots are a collection of hot springs, geysers and mud pots.<\/p>\n

The colors from the rainbow are all present.<\/p>\n

Even the root balls of downed trees in the area are artistic looking.<\/p>\n

From the lookout above, the area kinda looks like an artist\u2019s palette.<\/p>\n
