We have planted our seeds for the garden, and I’m beginning to wonder if we were a little quick to do so at least with some of them. The squash are seedlings now and growing out of control. I wanted to plant myself a container salad garden this year and planted lots of different leafy lettuces. They are growing much slower. As always, I’m having trouble starting my Rosemary. I may end up buying a well established plant again this year and trying to keep it alive.<\/p>\n
I’ve managed to do a little yard work, mostly weeding in the flower beds. I got 3\/4’s of it completed last weekend, I just didn’t have the energy to finish the whole thing. It will be soon time to begin planting and mulching. I’m hoping to get all of the windows scraped before it is time to plant and mulch.<\/p>\n
John is still plugging away on the living room. Last Friday, we finished pulling the ceiling down, but we didn’t have the energy to take it to the dump, so we will be doing that tomorrow morning. He went and picked up the rough cut beams that will be a decorative accent to the ceiling.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
