No rockhounding today, just a hike a long a beautiful water way.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

To get there we travelled down one of the worst roads we have been on EVER. Sever washboard, rocks jutting up in patches like cobble stone, and loose gravel that threw the jeep around.<\/p>\n

However, the scenery helped make up for our discomfort. John saw this rock that was forming a bridge. Do ya see it?<\/p>\n

And there were mountains and outcrops like this all along the way.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

There were some wicked turns and NO guard rails, typical for these back roads. Seems some people had some trouble with the sharp turns.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The highlight of the trip however was Fossil Creek. We didn\u2019t find any fossils but it didn\u2019t really matter.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The creek was running full and the water was so clear, it was amazing. I don\u2019t know if that made it easier or harder for the fish and fisherman.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Ever wonder if bees drink water? Ever wonder if they do how they manage? Well we found a bunch by the water getting a drink.<\/p>\n

Along with cool bug\u2026<\/p>\n

Can I ever take enough pictures of lizards? This guy was a bit on the cold side so he was happy to hold still for his photo.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The farther we walked down stream the prettier the landscape became.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It was relaxing, the air smelled fresh, clean, there was a nice breeze blowing, and warm sun shinning. Time for a feet picture while we relax and enjoy the day.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

After a nice break we continued on and came across the PERFECT swimming hole. OMG!!! I wished it was warmer, I wished I was a young kid again who didn\u2019t mind cold water. I wanted to swing on the rope, fly through the air and into the clear water.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I settled for hiking farther down stream and sticking my fingers in the cold water.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Now it is time for SELFIES!!!!!<\/p>\n

The day is over and it is time for the wretched ride back home.<\/p>\n
