I took out all of the staples holding the leather covering to this housing and set the leather covering aside.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.2dogsbarkin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/clip_image0042.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 0px 5px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"clip_image004\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.2dogsbarkin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/clip_image004_thumb2.jpg?resize=580%2C436&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"clip_image004\" width=\"580\" height=\"436\" border=\"0\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I used \u00bc\u201d plywood to make a \u201ccabinet bottom\u201d for the hole left by the TV. I stretched the leather I had previously set aside over the plywood, stapled it down and trimmed the excess.<\/p>\n<p>I used another piece of \u00bc\u201d plywood on the inside of the opening to create a secure bottom to my cabinet and then screwed the leather covered plywood over that.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.2dogsbarkin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/clip_image0062.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 0px 5px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"clip_image006\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.2dogsbarkin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/clip_image006_thumb2.jpg?resize=580%2C436&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"clip_image006\" width=\"580\" height=\"436\" border=\"0\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I repurposed the framing that was around the TV originally to make a frame for a set of doors.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.2dogsbarkin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/clip_image0082.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 0px 5px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"clip_image008\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.2dogsbarkin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/clip_image008_thumb2.jpg?resize=580%2C436&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"clip_image008\" width=\"580\" height=\"436\" border=\"0\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Attached the doors I had previously build and viola, new cabinet and storage space<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.2dogsbarkin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/clip_image0101.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 0px 5px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"clip_image010\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.2dogsbarkin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/clip_image010_thumb1.jpg?resize=580%2C436&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"clip_image010\" width=\"580\" height=\"436\" border=\"0\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>What a view!!!! And most importantly, no more banging my head!
