For the past few days the weather has been yucky! It has been about 27 degrees<\/strong> in Coffeyville and rainy<\/strong>. Yes I said rainy<\/em>! Look at our poor babies!<\/p>\n

It is the most bizarre weather we have been in since leaving Pennsylvania. Everything froze over.<\/p>\n

We almost couldn\u2019t get the doors on the Jeep open, and the steps in and out of the RV would not retract. Took John hours outside with a heat gun to get the steps unfrozen.<\/p>\n

\"x-default\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Our slide awning wouldn\u2019t go in because the roller mechanism was frozen.<\/p>\n

\"x-default\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"x-default\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It took most of us who wanted to leave on the 23rd a day and a half just to get enough ice off of our rigs to be able to pull the slides in, clear connectors of ice, and get the jacks up.<\/p>\n

Then as we were leaving Buckeye campground it started to snow.<\/p>\n

And snow.<\/p>\n

And snow.<\/p>\n

It reminded us of our December 2012 departure from Pennsylvania last year:<\/p>\n
