This is another scenic drive close to our campground. Quebradas, which means \u201cbreaks\u201d, is a drive through 24 miles of rugged land east of Socorro, NM.<\/p>\n

The landscape was varied with rolling bench lands\u2026<\/p>\n

box canyons and rugged ridges of alternating bands of red and yellow sandstone<\/p>\n

Arroyos (drainage routes for water) showed unique sandstone structures carved by the rushing water from intense thunderstorms.<\/p>\n
