Happy Valentine’s Day! A day all about romance and love.<\/p>\n
So there is this gun show in Benton, PA that John wants to go to but he doesn\u2019t have anyone to go with him. In the spirit of the day and spending time together I offer to go with him. I\u2019m not that into guns\u2026but I\u2019m having a REALLY good hair day and I don\u2019t want to waste it on the dogs by staying at home. Besides, there is bound to be some interesting characters at this event and I do love to people watch.<\/p>\n
After about an hours ride we arrive at the gun show. Benton is a small town so I was not expecting the gun show to be wall to wall people like it was. When it came to interesting people to watch, I wasn’t disappointed.<\/p>\n
John had taken a gun along he wanted to try and sell at the gun show. Since he was the one \u201cshopping\u201d I offered to hold the gun for him while he \u201ctried on\u201d other guns. Several old-timers were quite impressed that not only was I attending a gun show on Valentine\u2019s Day but I was carrying his gun for him as well. Apparently that makes me \u201cA Keeper\u201d.<\/p>\n
After several hours at the gun show and funny conversations with some interesting attendees we headed home.<\/p>\n
To finish off the day with some romance, John cooked us a delicious steak dinner, I popped in a movie, he opened a bottle of wine, and we curled up on the couch for the night.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
