It was a day filled with excitement and tears as Connie, the 911 Center Director and I said our goodbyes to a group of people that I considered more than just my co-workers, more than just friends. They are a family unto themselves and it was hard to leave them.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Michael finally got me to sit on his lap after many years of asking. And Donna let me tear up her \u201cWendy Dreese Hates this Machine\u201d sign. She said she will make one for Diana.<\/p>\n

Of course I had to say good bye to Wendy H and her dancing Christmas bear. Both drive everyone crazy!  *wink*<\/p>\n

I have left feeling confident that my replacement, Diana, will not only be a good IT support person for them but will fit in nicely and come to know them as the special group of people they are.<\/p>\n

She certainly made herself at home at my old desk.<\/p>\n
