Spackling, sanding, spackling\u00a0some more, more sanding, aaahhh\u00a0will it ever end? Of course, it just feels like it goes on forever. Probably because of the dusty mess we perpetually clean until the job is done.<\/p>\n

Today John was trying to finish up the last couple of spots that needed sanded before his surgery later today. I came out from the laundry room to find him sitting on the couch with a strange look on his face. He said “something snapped in my back and it hurts so much I can hardly breathe”. So I set him up with the heating pad and proceeded to finish the sanding for him.<\/p>\n

I asked him what needed done yet and he said “just a few spots on the ceiling”. The ceiling? Really? Your back chooses now to go out? Sanding the ceiling is the HARDEST part! So I get to it and by the time I’m done sanding, sweeping and mopping….I need ANOTHER shower.<\/p>\n

But, now is the fun part. I get to paint. I can’t wait to get started.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
