This weekend I have been busy moving our kitchen items to other places in the house and trying to come up with a make shift kitchen that we can live with until the new kitchen is finished.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
This will be our last (and most expensive) major renovation project. It is also the one I’m most excited about. I mean who doesn’t like a new kitchen.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
The cabinets that you see hanging were hand-built by my grandfather and father, many years ago. In a way it will be sad to tear them out, as these are probably some of the last cabinets in the neighborhood built by my grandfather.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
This house was hand-built by its original owners, the kitchen built by a local craftsman, and now is being renovated by its second owners. There is a lot of blood (literally), sweat and tears in this house. It gives it a warm, cozy feeling that I hope its new owners enjoy.<\/div>\n
