Trying to figure out how to post Riesa’s\u00a0latest album without all of my files in the appropriate place has made me rethink our website thing, especially since I have discovered blogging.<\/p>\n
Web\u00a0sites are good in some situations, but the more I get into blogging the more I think a web site is not a good choice for what I want to do, which is to stay in touch with my friends and family, especially when we hit the road.<\/p>\n
Updating a website \/ pages is a lot of work and extra software. A blog is basically just an internet thing. Oh I’ll probably still use some straight up web pages for complicated content layouts and then just link to them,\u00a0but for the most part I can do everything I want in a blog.<\/p>\n
So, I have moved all of our content to this blog, shut down the web site (essentially), left a note indicating\u00a0where we can now be found\u00a0and a link to get the visitor here.<\/p>\n
