We didn’t have any big plans for a New Year’s Eve celebration. When you fall asleep each night by 9:30pm even when you are trying to stay up later, your chances of making it all the way to midnight are slim.<\/p>\n

Paul and Bonnie weren’t doing much either so we decided to go to their house and celebrate early with them. We cooked, drank some wine, ate some cake and just enjoyed sitting around visiting.<\/p>\n

That seemed to be our theme this year. We spent more time with friends this holiday season than we have in past years. It was a nice change, and good practice for when we hit the road and will be away from our families during much of\u00a0the holidays.<\/p>\n
