Finally Christmas Eve is here! Every year my parents (Candy and Jerry) put on a big dinner event. Lobster, steak, more cookies than you can count and lots of beer and wine.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This year is extra special because of the new addition to the family, grand-baby Riesa.\u00a0There is nothing like a child to remind you of\u00a0\u00a0the true spirit and miracle of Christmas. Unfortunately Riesa’s daddy, Zane,\u00a0had to work and couldn’t be with us.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For the first time in 4 years my son Brad, discharged from the Army in September, and his German bride, Julia gathered around the table with us.\u00a0<\/p>\n

John’s daughter, Tiffany\u00a0and her fiance Josh also joined us for the celebration.\u00a0<\/p>\n

There was a lot of silliness going on while we waited for supper to be ready. It could have had something to do with all of the wine and beer that was flowing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Britta introduce Riesa to apple sauce today. She was a little iffy about it at first. It sure doesn’t taste like mama’s milk or rice cereal.\u00a0<\/p>\n
